| We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing Look down upon the Rosannadanna Household! Bring luck to our fathers, good health to our mothers And please don't make me sweat like Doctor Joyce Brothers!
The only Gilda Radner doing her Roseanne Rosannadanna.
Can't find my favorite Point/Counterpoint. Jane Curtin's arguing for the government to get off our backs about drugs, how there's nothing wrong with recreational use or just enjoying stuff from time to time. Dan Aykroyd naturally comes back with "Jane you ignorant slut!" And goes on to argue that laws are meant to discourage not the occasional user or experimenter but the everyday crack users who'll kill you just so they can have another hit. Holy crap that is funny.
Is it me or is Weekend Update the only reason to watch SNL for the past...20 years? Back in the 70s it was really funking funny. You know, back when they had Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Lorne Michaels was in the skits, Bill Buck, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd. The Originals, the ones that made it great.
Am depressed now. Don't have my old VHS tapes of the 76-78 shows any more, they've disappeared. Hope Mom's got them in a cabinet somewhere.

| So sorry to annoy you again, but I just HAD to share it. Isn't it just gorgeous? Can't WAIT until March '09.
Killing time at work - can't do aught til I have one more person here. And I get to stay until 7pm.
Got vexed at people sending me crap on Facebook again - do I look like I want inspirational messages of any kind? Much less the ones involving a deity I actually do not believe in or give two shits about. I swear, I'm gonna start axing people over it.
So anyway.
Have new clothes that are pretty, just in time for it to get cold/cool. I really like the look I've got going - very '60s college girl. Works for me.
Tired. Need to do stuff to get new job. Forgot. Have to do it tomorrow.

| Oh, yes chillens!!
Check it out - failblog.org. Tons of greatness.
Today has been off to an interesting start - I cleaned and reorganized most of the bedroom. Didn't think I would, didja? Chris gets the kitchen, but I get to go babysit later on so I dunno if laundry will be done tonight or tomorrow morning.
Rob returns Tomorrow!!

| Holy Moly - funniest poster I think I've ever seen. And oddly endearing too. huh. Maybe I'll actually pay to watch the film instead of waiting for someone to stream it. Lionsgate generally has pretty good films that it produces/distributes...
Robert's up in Cleveland, Ohio at a conference. I finally get why he doesn't like it when I'm gone - it's really lonely without the other. Chris is great, but it's not the same and I can't sleep for beans without Rob. He doesn't get back until Sunday afternoon, which I predict will be filled with snuggles and laundry-doing. And cooking. He wants my chili as a welcome home present.
The other night we were all talking about the future; Chris has to decide whether he's coming with us when we move, or to stay here. Hopefully we can stay in Austin, where we've all got jobs, friends, family, don't have to move and Rob's already in with a GREAT program for his interests. I don't want to stay in Austin forever: this is a great town but where I am in life, wanna look around a little more before we do pick a place to plant ourselves.
Shamsee and Ri want their dad back. I want their dad back. I need my snuggles and my sleep, getting neither for a week without the excitement of NYC or aid of alcohol makes life a bit duller.
Holy shit he's taking a bit of liberty in pickin on me when he's gone though. I promised him he'll get his. Maybe Ex-Lax in some Kahlua so he doesn't know until it's too late. Nah - then I'll suffer, unless I get some of those nifty scent-killing candles beforehand.
Oooh - got new phone. My old one, which I love to pieces, began randomly shutting down or resetting itself. Mid-call and everything! So AT&T saw fit to upgrade my phone, nice considering I've been a loyal customer for 5 years and this is the FIRST TIME I've updated my poor cell. I'm excited - got it yesterday, been fiddling with it ever since. I've ordered a data cable for it too; won't have to pay internet usage fees just to download the ringtones I so love to make. Pictures are supported too. Suh-weet.
Tip - 2 bags green tea + 2 bags peppermint tea + 1/4 cup sugar. Make hot tea by putting bags in coffeemaker's pot and let them sit for 4 hours in HOT water. Let cool - instant awesome iced tea! It's also safe from Rob Consumption 'cuz he doesn't like peppermint tea. YES!
Gonna go try and sleep.
